In-store Pickup lets retailers sell to their brick-and-mortar locations. They will see per-location pickup demand across each of their stores, and it gives consumers a clear pickup location on the entry form, confirmation email, and winner email.
💡 This feature is available for Draws in the EQL Shopify app.
How it works
EQL captures each entrant's chosen pickup location at entry. Before processing, you can see exactly how demand is distributed across your stores so you can allocate available inventory accordingly. When payments are processed, customers are locked into their entry pickup location and fulfil their win at that store.
Viewing pickup demand
- Open your draw detail page and go to the Inventory allocation or Demand insights table
- Use the location filter to drill into a specific store's demand
- Pickup and delivery demand are shown as separate columns so you can see the split at a glance
- Use the Manage inventory link to adjust Shopify product stock directly.
What consumers see
- A fulfillment availability badge on the entry form shows whether the draw offers delivery, pickup, or both
- After entering, consumers receive a confirmation email showing their chosen pickup location and your location's pickup instructions
- Winners receive an email with the store address and collection details
Understanding your results
After processing, the draw metric bar shows pickup vs delivery units sold split, so you can see how each fulfillment method performed for the launch.
'Pre-auth at Entry' Draw vs 'Payment After Entry' Draw
With a Pre-auth at Entry draw, retailers can sell both in-store pickup and delivery orders through a single draw. During entry, customers choose whether they want in-store pickup or delivery.
With a Payment After Entry draw, retailers can only sell one fulfillment type per draw — either pickup or delivery, not both. The retailer sets this preference when creating the draw, and customers can only enter for that option.
