How it works
The 'Audiences' page gives retailers a dedicated space to explore and act on their launch audience data:
- Filter by date range and specific launches to scope your audience
- Slice the audience into segments: winners, non-winners, or all entrants
- Save segments for reuse across multiple exports or tagging jobs
- Export as CSV or push directly to Shopify as customer tags
All audience data is automatically scoped to clean entries — fraudulent, blocked, and invalid cohorts are filtered out so retailers always work with trustworthy numbers.
Setting up Audiences
- Open the EQL Shopify app and navigate to Audience in the main menu.
- Use the date range and launch filters to scope your audience.
- Choose a segment type: Winners, Non-winners, or All entrants.
- Click Save segment to store the segment for later use.
- To export: click Export CSV to download, or Tag in Shopify to push the segment as Shopify customer tags.
⚠️ CSV exports and Shopify tagging run as background jobs. You'll see progress visibility while the job completes.
Limits and notes
- Audience data is available for all closed launches.
- Saved segments persist until manually deleted.
- Shopify tagging pushes to the customer record — tags can be used in Shopify Marketing, email flows, and discount targeting.
