If this is your first Draw, you’ll need to add the EQL Draw app block to a new product page template. This prevents changes to your existing product pages. It will also replace your store’s standard Buy button with the EQL Launch widget, making the product available exclusively through an EQL Draw.

Step 1: Select a product page template to used for EQL Draws
- Head to Theme Editor to create a new product template used for EQL Draws.
- If you already created one, select the template and head down to Step 2.
Create a new Product page template
- Navigate to Theme Editor, on the top bar, open the dropdown.
- Click on “Products”.
- Click on “Create template”.
- Name the new template. For example: “EQL Draw Template”.
- Click on Create template.
- Once that’s done, review the new template you just created, and return to EQL Launches app instruction screen.
You should see Step 1 marked as completed, and the right template selected.
Step 2: Remove ability to Add to cart or Buy now on product page
- Return to Theme Editor, navigate to the left side panel, and look for “Product information” section
- Find and remove “Quantity selector” and “Buy buttons” from the template
- 💡 Tip: If you use third-party apps that add extra elements to your product page — like pickup instructions, subscriptions, shipping timers, or payment plans — and they’re not relevant to your Draw launch, we recommend removing them from the Draw template to avoid clutter or conflicts.
- Press “Save”
- Return to EQL Launches app instruction screen
- You should see Step 2 marked as completed.
⚠️ If your product has multiple variants, make sure “Variant picker” is not removed from the template.
Step 3: Add EQL Draw app block to your product template
- Return to Theme Editor, under “Product information” section, hover over any two elements to see a “(+) Add” button.
- Click on “Add section”
- Navigate to “Apps”
- Find “EQL Draw” app block by EQL Launches, and click to add it to your template
- Press “Save”
- Return to EQL Launches app instruction screen
- You should see Step 3 marked as completed
- Navigate to the bottom of the page, click “Complete setup” to finish
💡 You can place the app block wherever it fits best — either in a new section or in place of the original Buy Buttons. It’s designed to work in any location, so feel free to choose the layout that looks best for your product page.
