When a Draw goes live, you may receive hundreds or even thousands of orders in a short time. This can make it difficult to distinguish between orders placed through EQL Launches and regular store orders that need to be fulfilled.
To keep things organized, we recommend setting up an automation using Shopify’s free Flow app. This will automatically tag all orders generated by EQL Draws, allowing you to:
- Easily identify and filter Draw orders
- Keep your fulfilment process running smoothly
- Create custom views in your Orders dashboard for better visibility
Available workflows
There are two pre-built Flow workflows you can use, depending on how you want to manage your orders:
-
Tag all EQL Draw orders with
EQL Draw: Use this to filter out all EQL-generated entries, leaving only your standard eCommerce orders in view. -
Tag all not-selected Draw entries with
EQL Not Selected: Use this to filter out only orders that need fulfillment — this includes regular store orders and EQL Draw winner orders only.
📥 How to set it up
- Open the EQL Launches app → Settings
- Under the Order Tagging section, download the
.flowfile provided - If you don’t have the Shopify Flow app installed, install it here
- Open the Flow app
- Click “Import” and upload the
.flowfile you just downloaded - Click “Import” to confirm
- In the Flow dashboard, find the newly imported workflow called “Tag EQL Draw Orders”
- Click on it, then click “Turn on workflow”
💡 From now on, any new order created through an EQL Draw will be automatically tagged. Use the tags if you want to filter out EQL orders to separate them from normal orders.
